Big feild with cover for birds....check!

shotgun, shells, licences, game vest and orange hat...check!

good boots...we will be hoofin it a while ....check!

Bird dog (optional) .... check!

Pretty much just cover the feild ...check out tall grass etc and shoot what you flush.... pick em up and do it again...

Dress your birds and eat later.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;you asked about doves too...

We used to pull the pickup along the trees or windrows along the east side of a farm feild and wait... doves come back to roost late in the PM... so other than the setting sun being it the eyes it was a pretty sure way to see a lot of dove.
